Racing Form Website

Hi Clanners,

Many of the visitors on this website are owners or punters that follow horses very closely. There is no tool in South African racing to follow a specific horse and be alerted when it is carded, or even nominated, it's all a manual trawl through nominations or race cards.

Its very much a case of early days for our project run under the name "Racing Form" on www.racingform.co.za but we offer this service.

On the home page, which is a very temporary homepage and will soon be replaced with a live results dashboard, users can see what our roadmap is for the month of June, quite ambitious but most of the plumbing has been done.

This morning we released the beta of "Runner Alerts".

You can "follow" horses and receive email alerts when they are carded to run. We will soon offer users the choice of following horses by a particular breeder, sire, or all engagements for a specific trainer or jock.

ok, i suppose for some its important to know when a horse is nominated, for me i prefer acceptance's and then i can study.

is this the extension of form grids?

We are building our own form section. No affiliation with Formgrids or its data.

@Easy, the Runner Alerts is merely a feature of the site, we are building a lot more into. e.g form, horse searches (by sire, dam, damsire, breeder, sire line, sex, colour etc), stallion register. Will welcome more feedback once those are complete.

@Easy, for many reasons that idea is a non starter. No re-inventing or copying happening at all. There are many form sites or print variations, to each his own. Anything to get more out of studying pedigrees, form or just following the game.
