Anyone knows why Orator's Daughter didnt make the Woolavington field?
A few controversies will be settled on Saturday......Cape Town Noir vs Vercingetorix,Love Stuck vs Tellina,
Wild One vs Wylie Hall and Yorker vs the Field!
my early choices are Tellina x Do You Remember, although i have CTN as an entrant in my CTC!

At least KOP will score some points at Kenilworth.

I see Hollywood have priced up 7/2 Capetown Noir and Vercingetorix for the DN2000. CTN was 1/4 last time out where, in my opinion, he did not run to his true potential and had valid excuses for not winning, slow away and second run after the rest. Come Saturday, I think you'll see a totally different CTN, if he runs to his true potential - no contest. Saturday, I think CTN will start outright favourite and a lot shorter than the current 7/2 on offer.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Doubt he stays but we will find out on the weekend
Any idea y his trainer nominated him for the 1600 at clairwood

Do you honestly believe he will take his place in the 1600 at Clairwood a week later, win or lose this Saturday? CTN did win the Derby over 2000m, the winning margin is irrelevant. Admittedly 2000m does appear to be his absolute max, for now, who's to say he doesn't win the DN2000 and they send him back to the Cape for the Met, the stable might feel the July distance carrying 57.0kgs is a tough ask, Jackson couldn't do it last season! Why destroy a good horse?
