Galileo's Destiny ? Scratched
12 years 4 weeks ago
I wonder why this horse was scratched for the Glenair at Arlington - He was top weight - Interesting to see that DRILL SARGENT(same owner) would have carried top weight if GD was not nominated. I wonder if Drill Sargent is a big horse that can carry weight?

Had GD not excepted then Drill Sargeant would have carried 3KG's more and so would the rest of the field so there is absolutely no unfair advantage to DS by the scratching of GD which was found to be lame Tuesday morning...in 2 of DS's last 3 runs he has carried 61KG's and won them both...

Titch maybe you should call Mr Brugman and ask him which horse he would have preferred in the race? Sometimes having a horse in almost every yard can lead to some strange decisions

Vertical Drift will enjoy Arlington ... and is possible that there will be some give in the ground as well... I am expecting an improved run. Not so mad about your pilot though :S

Titch all true but to carry the weight over 3200 is a different story but he is a good horse ,not true that all would have carried 3kg more some horses under sufferencense wouldnt have.
The Madji the problem with a small stable you get what is left and stable is out of form the horse is out at weights so cant blame anyone as long as we get a honest ride that is all I can ask for ,hoping for a improved run but he is a difficult horse to ride and at least the boy have been working the horse.
I am of the web for a few days have a look at Hail the Hearty Monday working very well after being injured in last run likes to run fresh

If GD had never been entered DS would have been carrying 3kg more and the horses wrong at the weights still carrying 52kg?
