Rooney leaving would be no huge surprise CnC and all this talk of him in the midfield etc is bolox, not his position and that has been very evident over the past two seasons. if we aren't going to find him a place upfront where he belongs then we should cash in and use the money on someone who can play in midfield.... just imho

Welcome to David Moyes... come on then, let's see what you can do... (tu)

United should have let him go when he wanted to two years ago and he got that huge wage increase to stay. From that moment on he thought that he was bigger than the club and Ferguson could not get rid of him (only Man City could pay him what he earned then) and Ferguson would never have sold him to them. You guys will be better off without him. Funny that my intense dislike for United is no longer since Ferguson resigned.

I don't find that funny at all, maybe for a few months now these football threads will be palatable ;) Should Mr Moyes bring a host of new entries to United's trophy cabinet though, I can see you relapsing quickly :)-D What a day it must be to be David Moyes, wow, hard to envisage he can see it as just another job. Will be hugely different to what he has experienced at Everton but they have given him a 6 year deal which hopefully he will see as a huge vote of confidence.

Bookies had nothing to do with it FC, word was out out to some big players and they hit them hard. The surprising thing to me is that they didn't suspend betting immediately,

David Moyes has already received death threats from both Everton and Man United fans. We live in crazy times.

Not always, remember Harry and the England Job? and they reckon from 2001 there was 10 Names under 2/1 to be the next Man Utd manager
