?......you may just be onto something.......we know that the sire SiIvano gets the ground but in more than 80% of the time it is the female line that determines genome or type of distance the progeny are limited to.....dam sire National Assembly had around 5% winners to runners beyond a mile and the entire family like half sister Trinity House were range bound to a mile tops.......having said that Vercingetorix may just be in that 5-10% exectpion but who would want to take those odds at this stage of the game.......:S

....Sorry Frodo never saw it as we were told to now dicuss July prospects under this thread....please explain to our bright Neon..... why Bold Silvano and many other Silvano's get ground ....and the doubts with the stamina on this particular one....I thought my explaination was clear ....but hey if people believed it is the sire alone that detirmines thre genome then explain why some less than 5% of Var can go real far..... or the Epol that helps get the trip ....or the seat of the jockey that knows when to give the right ride and a breather to ensure a few furlongs more....or the trainers touch and training proramme the yeilds the furthest ground....::o

According to the list generated by the g1goldmine software, National Assembly mares have produced 11 GR winners to date.

Of those, only 1 was over further than 1600 metres. Nevvay (by Western Winter) won the 2400 metre Lonsdale Stirrup Cup, a Gr3.

That's why the price is ridiclous. If anyone thinks the July winner has run in the Guineas, think again.
