doubt he will get a run,and he will be out at the weights (probably)

horse population overpopulated , industry need a lot more races/racemeetings . How do owners sustain their costs ?

To just get a run owners must be happy .. therefore punters can expect in most cases all horses running in maidens and lower divisions to be trying their level best to earn a stake cheque as they dont know when next they can get a run....

There are no nom fees in KZN so certain trainers just nominate every where, so the numbers can also be a bit misleading.

They should let them all run. Imagine watching a 114 horse race.

Agree (tu), some trainers nominate various races on one meeting same horses , a Stunning guy was nominated in 6 races at 2 meetings at the same time

time to re introduce noms. fees me thinks, to stop this stupidity.

Ridiculous - Trainers like these cannot be taken seriously as they cannot really be placing the horse if they nominate so readily.

Mind blowing final field of only 11 horses.

total of only 83 horses running in the 8 races.

i am amazed thats all.

IMO we should have never scratched the horse, I have been in this game since Robert Maroun trained my horse ( buddies) dad and if you have a chance to take your horse from the stable and run just do it as you never know what the future brings as far as another bad draw, a virus , injury etc etc

Mr Maroun(Robert) always said that horses were born to run not stand in a box. He managed to get poor horses to earn because they were that much fitter than the rest . I know many think Mr Spies is a poor trainer but he has a similar approach and though that makes it difficult for the punter it is good for his owners.
