as i sit here in front of the telly i notice the scots grand national taking place today reminds of the year cockle strand won the great race i was attending the race with my clever brother gajima wanting to get an early start back i left the same gajima £50 to place on aukland jack at 7/2 imagine my surprise when getting back to the car he declared he got 6/4 never ever found that bacon slicer . other gajimaisms i got 7/4 that one they were only 2/1 next door . or the classic did you bet that one dad. ah belevedere bond and mung yisty memories are made of this.

oh i just remembered another gajimaism on departing powderhall getting back to the car he was heard to utter the immortal phrase did the car have tyres when we left it.

Old age can result in memory loss or worse still delusional behaviour no2son. I see that both may be applicable to you in your Heinz year.
You forgot to mention how you refused to bet The Celestial Traveller for me at Kelso when it pished in at 20/1 or the 33/1 winner I tipped you last time we went to Ayr.
Or better still, the time I told you to bet Fair Brutus and you missed out as you were busy buying ice cream. As I recall you were the only one in the shop that day who didn't bet him.
Just passing memories.
