Star Effort's win in Daily News is one my all time fav races!

Geoff is an absolute gentleman. Once sat next to him on a plane to Durban. We chatted horses whole flight. He was going down to saddle Dunsinane in the Daily News!

His best horse has to be Jet Master or El Picha

Wahahaha is this like an episode of punk'd . The man has just been fined for drug offense and he is star of the week. Good one dev I like your humor

?.....or a very good attempt in .PR ......good that he is now at Raintjies with 75 boxes......he can at least build up a decent string to put himself in contention again.....wonder which vet got him into the limelight....:S

I do not know the in's and out's of the fine etc but I will say that Geoff is one of the gentleman of racing, a hell of a nice guy! One of the nicest. No air's and grace's like some other's in this racing game.

How can u possibly make him the star of the week? For goodness sake the man has just been fined for use of a banned substance
in a gr2 race .
Its a disgrace that trainers that are caught using banned substances do not have their training licence revoked
with immediate affect .

Using steroids , epo , dmso , drenches , drips and all the other substances is just a sign of how inept these trainers actually are.
Maybe it would be in the HORSES best interest if trainers like the above rather go sell cars .

His not the first trainer it's part of the game so don't know what the big deal is the man is a good trainer and person how many G1 winners has he trained so he got 1 positive drug test and all this maybe you should come train superstar I'm sure u will be a superstar trainer seen how clever u are

Sure his not the first trainer and it seems to be part of the game like you say ,
BUT it is Wrong ,it is Illegal , and most of all it is grossly unfair to the HORSE .

I find it very difficult to think that people like this are good people , in my book a good person/trainer is somebody who is honest .

And yes Ram if I could train I would be a SUPERSTAR trainer .
