migh not be a "needle merchant" but certainly world champion stable at running "in and out" on formgrids
last 30 runs very little white
last 30 runs more whit
last 100 runs plenty white
but looking at it closer stable certainly has purple patches for a couple of weeks and then misses for a few......

The pattern ever since Mark Khan retired............stables without stable jocks go backwards.!!
Go back in history and you will find that the Drier stable was very ordinary and then Robbie Hill became stable jock and the stable was transformed.......................although changes have been forced, the stable has never been without a stable jock since.
Other examples were the Maingard and Bruss stables ...........nothing happened until Lloyd used to get back from Mauritius, ride their work ,and their strike rate used to increase dramatically

.....not only a problem with stable jocks......Woodie has spread himself pretty thin with 2 yards in Gauteng.....eyes cannot be every where...... then it is the below average stock he has.... Not to be'S and Battersea Park's are never going to see anyone win a trainers title again.....:S.....then this wrap for an anti-hystemine with anti inflammitory properties a very potent cortisteroid at that......:

The National Horseracing Authority confirms that at an Inquiry held in Cape Town on 26 March 2013, Trainer A E Sands was charged with a contravention of Rule 73.2.7, read with Rule 10.5.14, in that he was the person responsible for the horse LA TIGRESSE, from which a blood specimen was taken on 28 September 2012 at Sands Racing Yard, Milnerton.
This blood specimen disclosed upon analysis the presence of Phenylbutazone, which is a prohibited substance in terms of the Rules of The National Horseracing Authority and was not recorded in his Veterinary Treatment Register.
Mr Sands pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The Inquiry Board found Mr Sands guilty of the charge imposed a penalty of a fine of R15 000, of which R5 000 was wholly suspended for a period of one year provided that Mr Sands is not charged with and found guilty of a contravention of these Rules during that period.
Mr Sands has the right of appeal against the finding and the penalty imposed.
