I've also been bullshitted by a trainer that used to be train for me, but at the end of the day, as a punter you have to use ur brain and study form before laying down the chips. I also from time to time get inside info, but the info is more about the horses well being, and how it has been working and if the stable is confident that it will win, then I use my own judgment to back it or not and how much to wager. People are people, some are decietful some are honest. My grandfather always told me as lighty, don't trust people trust yourself.

Spot on fingers...my good mate the late Kevin Nel was married to his daughter and rode a few for Nick...he was very good when punting them..
