RACEHORSES RETIRED

to the slaughter house. Disgusting pictures on Sky News. Disgraceful behaviour of the scum bags who have the job of slaughtering these animals who are left to starve standing around injured whilst awaiting their fate. We saw a horse been given the shock treatment and another hanging from the ceiling still alive awaiting its death. Horrible horiible horrible.

It's not always the owners....you sell the horse in good faith....unfortunately it's a thing called greed...that some very rich people perpetuate by inducing others, sometimes indirectly, to participate in....
They'll serve up a patsy...and it will continue in a more clandestine fashion ....
you're correct greg...humans....:(

of course its happening here..it happens everywhere..we as racing people breed racehorses to race for a few years and when they finish then what? its impossible to find homes for every horse..people always use the line oh well they are bred to race..shit..we breed them to race! and once we are finished using them then what? it is my biggest regret about this sport..a very small % of the stake pool should be allocated to making sure our horses are looked after well when retired not left to die and be abused in shocking circumstances

I know who the guy is that have the contract to supply TAKI'S BILTONG (the hugely popular branded "beef" and "game" bilting ,chillibites and droewors available everywhere at garages and some supermarkets )........the contract is not to supply beef or game ........his contract is to supply DONKEYS and HORSES.......no jokes

.........That is not beef you eat.......you may just eat your own horse that you sold cheap cheap.......fuaaarking disgusting.....hope they close down that TAKI....
