They will never take away the result from a Rupert horse on L'Ormarin sponsored day, oops.. I say that with tongue in cheek.

Well done VC, and also to Anton Marcus, always the man for the big occasion.
With Martial Eagle running a close up 4th I question whether the QP can be used as a yardstick for the Met. I guess a lot depends on the pace, if the pace is on in the Met it'll be much tougher for VC.
Anyway plenty time to assess the Met so lets enjoy the champion miler today!

Mr H, not saying he won't see out the Met he is a champion miler and top milers do win the Met, I just feel that with the right tactics Beach Beauty, Pomodoro and Jackson will push him all the way and is he starts treading water the last 100 meters will eat him up. I cannot split these 4 after today.

Cheers guys. See you Met day. But for the delicious meaty fillings in the sandwich the day ended as it started - with two howlers.

Good point - that false start also did nobody any favours except for VC - I'm actually hoping he goes for the Met - then we will know (with hopefully no false start) - once and for all if he stays or not
