Chave De Oura was over-racing early, yet still found the best finish of the rest, and then Sean Cormack reported that he didn't stay. The form has to be considered a touch suspect.

- I got a knock from this horse on his first run when he beat the Drier fav and after the way he won that I was sold. Still learning it seems and I'll back him against any other three-year-old between 1400 -1800m (maybe even further). Remember what he did to Run For It? You are 100% that last year seems stronger but he won so easily . Good to have a horse like this around

this is a top, top horse and i think he will get 2000m with ease.definitely the best 3yr old i have seen thus far and will be a certainty for the derby,kzn guineas,daily news and july.

Black toga looked flat in the finish.
Could have held him up bit.
