After going an entire league season unbeaten Wenger started dismantling his team. Once they lost to Barce in the 2006 Champions League final he believed that he had to rebuild a new team. And thats when the trouble started. Ljunberg, Edu, Cole, Lauren, Pires, Gilberto Silva, all great players not forgetting Viera, Wiltord and Henry all going with 2 years of each other. Then he gets him some more world class players like Nasri (well no longer after the way he defended RVP free kick last Sunday) Fabregas, Clichy , Toure, Adebayor, Song and RVP. The club is only interested in gettting into the Champions League and making vast sums of money. Liverpool are in the same boat as are Spurs. Buy cheap sell for massive profits. (Anelka bought for hald a mill sold for 23 mill after 3 years)
Next Arsenal player to leave will be Walcott. Man United will sign him with a money/swap deal with Nani

Sorry Dave, missed your post
Even you, with your stubborn insistence in trying to find ways of winding me up, must surely be able to acknowledge deep down that I have no problem as such with money in the EPL. My gripe is that those who have had a huge influx of money refuse to admit that without said huge influx they would still be teams of mediocrity and clubs of even less stature.
CnC... you been reading The Irish Times???

Wenger will never get fired by Arsenal. He will leave at the end of the season when his contract comes to an end. Real Madrid want him to replace Jose Mourinho who is on his way to Man United.
