RECORD PAYOUTS!?

I have to have a BIG whinge about the Summer Cup (if only to let off steam for myself- see later post), but first here's one on my Blog that I started weeks ago, but only finished now after been ripped to shreads again on the weekend! Who wasn't- R941k QT, R66k PA, etc, etc...

THE R500.00 SWINGER!? SA HORSERACING HITS NEW PEAK!

Hello fellow punters?

Well, almost two months since my last blog, and believe me that was not because payouts in horse racing have suddenly gone back to some sort of normality..? There have still been some absolute shockers in the last two months, but to be honest one kinda got sick of ranting on about the 'rip-off' status of our racing/betting industry
I'm not in the least bothered by the comments/replies from the AB Clan (big, broad shoulders, me...) and the majority of the guys apparently 'blind loyalty' to this activity some of us used to enjoy, but which has now become a one-way "crook-fest" of note...

Again, if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen - find something else to 'enjoy' - big payouts have always been and will always be part of the game

Imagine how much fun racing would be if the first 3 in the betting ran 1st, 2nd and 3rd in every race. ::o

I got the 17X19 by boxing 5 horses .....but kicking myself for not throwing in the 8(horse not lucky numbers) who I always leave in my play....had 17X19 with 14 and the fav in my PA......if racing did not throw me these big swingers from time to time it would be boring.....:S

A news letter from the Whisperer. Sum's it up I think!

THE WHISPERER SAVES CLIENTS ON A TOUGH SUMMER CUP CARD
As you will read below, I advised clients just to play for fun on Saturday, on the Summer Cup card, and confidently stated that there would be some big upsets on the day. The Pick-6 paid out over R1,7 Million and the results were extremely tough to predict, as I said they would be. You can read below how I came to this conclusion in the extracts from my racecard summary from Saturday.
This is my 11th year in business and I am the first tipster I personally know of to offer selective betting advice, and give clients detailed analysis on when to bet, and when not to bet. It has taken me 10 years to develop my Selective tipping system, and I firmly believe selective advice is the way to go. My job as a tipster is not only to churn out winners, but also to save clients money on the difficult cards by advising caution, and to advise clients when to play small and percentage betting. It's a fact that it is impossible to tip winners day in and day out. As you can see, we were in great form for about 8 weeks up until the middle of last week, and since then I have advised caution due to the difficult cards, and the results have justified my caution, saving clients money.
I advised the same caution on Sunday, but we did manage to have a couple of nice exotic wins at Kenilworth totalling over R6300, to pay for the weekend's fun!
Taken From My Summer Cup Racecard Summary:
"we have the running of this year's Summer Cup at Turffontein, with 7 graded races in total for racing fans to enjoy. I use the word enjoy, because both cards today are not 'punter friendly' cards, especially the Turffontein card because it is just so competitive. No strong bets on the Summer Cup card, and the type of card I would advise clients top steer clear of if it wasn't The Summer Cup, but with the big pools and exciting racing we have to have an interest. There are no big bets this weekend, it's a weekend to play for fun, take some exotics and enjoy the Summer Cup. Like I said, this Turffontein card is a VERY competitive feature race card with everyone trying to have a winner on the big day. There are big fields, 7 handicaps, 7 feature races (5 of the feature races are run on ha ndicap terms, and the 2 set weights feature races are for improving 3 year olds and are just as tough. So much will come down to luck in running and which horses feel better on the big day, something not in the formbook!) I have left my 4 best bets in the box today, but normally I would have removed them, as none of them are confident selections in competitive races." "Enjoy the day today, don't break the bank as there will be upsets today."

Caught a R28,000 PA for R864 earlier in the year. In one leg I had a 20/1 shot that arrived in one leg with a couple of 25/1 plus horses. I look at beating the favorites and hopefully has a few outsiders arrive. If the favorites come in every race it will pay nothing.

I think this is the record payout attached.

www.bdlive.co.za/national/2012/12/04/sta...45-jobs-in-18-months

Would have been cheaper just giving them R 150 a day and sending them to the Tote for the day.
