Had to check after you said that Dave, mine still says
Full Time Cheslea 2 Man Utd Reserves 3
After Di Matteo time Chelsea 3 Man Utd Reserves 3
After extra-time Chelsea 5 Man Utd 2nd/3rd team 4
I just wonder how much longer the ref had been told to give Chelski to allow them to score because no-one could stand the bleating over the penalty not being given for hand ball if they had lost
All tongue in cheek of course, good game, shame that the last penalty was all a bit unfortunate in how it came about but for me the earlier one was definitely a penalty so justice served I guess. I don't quite understand how some people say that shouldn't have been a penalty. Thought Anderson had one of his best games for United. Sturridge was selfish and rubbish, a big disappointment for me. Both defences... pretty shocking. Is it right they had to send a wheelchair on for Giggsy at the end, bet he don't play for a while after 120 minutes last night!!
Good luck to Chelski in the rest of the comp, I certainly hope they get to the semis anyway!!! doesn't look the toughest of opposition so a decent chance of them winning it but I have sneaky fancy for Swansea... there are those ironic times in football and it may well be the year that they win their first bit of major silverware is the same year that their former manager gets relegated
Bradford v Arsenal
Leeds United v Chelsea
Norwich City v Aston Villa
Swansea v Middlesbrough

Jamie Carragher sees the Capital One Cup as a great opportunity to get in game time, and hopes Liverpool can successfully defend their title.
The Reds saw off Cardiff City in the final last season and began the path to the 2013 showpiece with a 2-1 victory over West Brom, while they next take on Swansea in the fourth round at Anfield on Wednesday.
Carragher has fallen well down the pecking order at the club since last term, and while the 34-year-old centre-back accepts his now limited role with the club, he is determined to remind everyone of his quality when given the chance.
"I look at (the League Cup) and the Europa League as a chance to get games," he told The Daily Mail.
"This is something to focus on for me, as I know I'm not a Premier League regular any longer.
"We are the holders and don't want to give it away. Wembley was fantastic last season. This trophy is ours and we want to hold onto it.
"This is a quick-fire competition, and with the final being in February, you can achieve something very early. That's what we want to do."
LOOKS LIKE LIVERPOOLS SEASON IS OVER...

Checked the scores this morning after watching the BUNS score after the allocated 3 minutes last night and yes UNITED lost......
Great game of footy, still dont know how a bump makes a player dive into the air but i suppose that happens in the penalty zone. Pound for Pound i still believe United the better side and i dont mean the weighing system.

I was about to say the same about Man U. Their one chance of a title gone in extra time.

Atleast you will qualify for the Champions League next year and Liverpool wont.

Be fair Greg... you don't expect them to fight against relegation, just accept it and surrender to it?

Obviously didnt watch the game.pound for pound it was a tko.
Just going to check the score again.
The bump, are you talking about Hernandez or Ramirez.
1.Luiz is not a defender.
2.Hernandez took he's goal well but all round game poor.
3.Giggs given too much respect by ref and should have had 2 yellows
4.Chelsea need another 2 players,no strength outside first team.
5.Good to see no nasty tackles after Sundays shambles.
6.Anyone who doesn't think Chelsea were the better team have poorer eyesight than Roy Orbison.
7.just checked score again and it's still 5-4.
8.Yorkshire police must be as happy as a pig in shit, could you imagine Leeds v Man United in midweek.CARNAGE.

I agree, though I don't think the difference requires reference to the great RO's eyesight! Not that big a difference. But there were plenty who seemed to think otherwise and that United were unlucky.
Leeds -Chelski... still a lot of potential carnage, I think they might have preferred Swansea... oh, then again, maybe not!
