Congrats to owners Dennis and Gael Evans on Flax (by Royal Academy) winning the Gr 3 Saas Fee Stakes in Singapore today. Likewise they are the owners of Flax (by Silvano) who won the Gr 1 Raffles Cup last Sunday, to add to his triumph in the Gr 1 Krisflyer International Sprint and Gr 1 Patron's Bowl earlier this year.
Our horses are doing us proud abroad. What a pleasure!

Yup! - there were 2 HK Gr2's on the day and the other was won by Ambitious Dragon for trainer Tony Millard. Richard Fourie had a double on the day, so did Millard, and Weichong Mawing also rode a winner, so it was a good day all round at Sha Tin for the Saffers.

Just to correct the info that Mavourneen has kindly posted. Ato (Royal Academy) won the G3 Saas Fee yesterday and Flax (Silvano) won the G1 Raffles Cup last week. Ato won the G1 KrisFlyer International Sprint in May. Dennis and Gael Evans are having a wonderful run as they had a second winner yesterday with Spanish Train. Great that they were on course to enjoy these moments.

Flax back home in Africa but in Zimbabwe. Entered for their biggest race the Castle Tankard at the ripe old age of 9, having won his last start at Kranji in September 2015. Whitelinefever has an entry so does Fah Fee. I can remember Tytola coming back and running here after it ran in Singapore.
