What it means to meet Sir Henry Cecil

One of the greatest trainers in national hunt history just tweeted the below about sir henry
Paul Nicholls
One of the most treasured moments I will ever have in racing. Just shook hands & congratulated Sir Henry Cecil. What a legend.

Hibs
I cannot post any fotos from saturday because the fone is fubar. BUT i can tell you that seeing Sir Henry made me shed a tear. Vickie asked me what was wrong and i told her that i felt that Frankel was keeping him alive. I then told her about Henry and his passion for roses and for horses.
Its a funny world we live in, I am passionate about Spurs but when Bobby Robson died i made the trip to Newcastle for the funeral, it really hit me hard because i knew that a good guy had passed away.
Saturday was very hard for me, i cant explain it. I was just very moved when i saw Sir Henry and then said to Vickie "i think there is another funeral soon for me to attend"
As long as i live i will never forget Frankel, I cannot say he is the best ever BUT i can say that Frankel as a personality was far greater than Dancing Brave /Brigadier Gerrard and Sea The Stars. He has kept a very sick man alive. Given hope to many and drawn in the crowds.
The warmth felt on the course was amazing, the buzz was too. The racing fok will miss Frankel BUT i think those around him will miss him so much it will be unbearable.

If that's all you got from my heart felt posting then you are as it says on the tin. The reality is the man is very very ill and can hardly talk. He is in a lot of pain and sadly the end is near. I don't look forward to that day , actually I have never even met the man but I am profoundly touched by his body language/poise and proffesionalism and respect for the thourobred.
So I accept that day as inevitable and unavoidable and in my own way ill be there to pay my respects to a great man and racehorse trainer.
