Cooldrink machines that dispensed glass bottles.
Beatle bubble Gum.
Candy Cigarettes.
Peashooters.
Jukeboxes.
Hi-Fi Systems.
Wash Tub Wringers.
Metal Ice cube trays with levers.
Drive Ins.
Give everything but up!

Don't get me started about drive ins. Who remembers the old Top Star drive in? What about the drive in across from the Pure and Cool roadhouse in Malvern (Stadium Drive in)????

I remember those days like they were yesterday.

My favourite meal at Pure and Cool was undoubtedly the Toasted Chicken Mayonaise. The spaghetti bolonaise wasn't half bad either!!!

The Princess Movie house in Durban was the Saturday comic swop center...next to the Playhouse :)
