Race 5 Croke Park
This chap was super impressive on debut beating Kindle who ran a top race on July day(the third horse was the talented AGADEZ). His last run was uninspiring but I'll forgive him that as 1400m is perhaps too short. Khumalo will suite him and at 2-1 a place (20-1 win) he's worth a look.

Race 7 Go Indigo
At 13/10 a drum- 6/1 a win, she is value over this c/d. I think that she will not be out of the first three. What price would Ihla Bela be in this field?

I would be a bit careful today - many of the better horses coming off breaks and no way to be sure how ready (or not) they are - some run better fresh than others - going still on the hard side - watch out :
But I do agree with mr H on Go Indigo (tu)

Yip I will take your advice Frodo, going to take a small pa just for a look in...
Duel Asset is one of those coming back from a rest, may be the dark horse against Brooke's Club??
I also think Without Malice is not without a chance today.

Not easy cards for the way I like to have a dabble but have come up with these, more for interest and fun that serious belief in success but nothing ventured, nothing gained...
Straightjackets - lifers only - TR2 2 Trustafarian; DR1 14 Velero; DR10 14 Sunset Ruler
Complete Idiots - 30+ year minimum term - TR1 3 Tobe Turfblazer; TR7 4 Louvre; DR8 1 Varushka
Street mutterers - to be institutionalised before year end - DR3 12 Gold Mountain; DR6 2 Hammie's Boy; DR7 9 Nordic Jet; DR8 5 Offertory
Prospective sagicious pipe smoker - TR6 8 Divine Invitation; TR8 3 Pierre Jourdan; DR5 1 British Banker; DR9 4 Remember In Essence
Win 4folds and atc - TR2 9 Pemba; TR7 1 Berry Blaze; DR1 1 Surfer Girl; DR2 9 Lion's Roar; DR4 4 Star Jet
Copied from Durb thread. Be(s)t of luck to all (tu)

Interesting racing - more thoughts:
R3: Flight Zone now looks very hard to oppose - but Destiny's Lady looks the value - was beaten 5 lengths by FZ, but with the allowance now meets her on 6.5 kg's better terms - Varlet is suited to this trip and can complete the trifecta
R4: Looks a 2 horse race between Mujaarib and Meissa - very hard to say which is the better one - money for Straw Market, who has come down in the ratings, but is suspect imo over the 1800 - I think Yer-maan is improving as a 4 yr old and is good place value over this trip
R5: Brooks Club's class may pull him through over a trip that looks short of his best - Baracah has run close to BC a couple of times and could take advantage is BC is not 100% tuned up - the filly Classic Illusion another to consider for the placings - the 3 yr olds look very badly in here
R6: Competitive handicap where Vantage has found lots of support - probably on the basis that as a 4 yr old he gets 4 kg's from the 3yr old American Storm - will be interesting to see if the handicapper got his sums right, or whether Vantage is better than rated - V did not seem to beat the strongest of fields when winning his maiden recently. In the Frame has some good form over this trip and looks good place value imo, with Divine Invitation also in with a shout; Egyptian does now seem held by a few, especially taking into account that this is not his best trip
R7: Quite a few with chances, but Go Indigo has very good form over this trip and is racing fit - good value imo - not much between Berry Blaze and Hawker Hunter and they both are probably better over further; Katy's Lane holds Amur Affair on a couple of runs and is another who should be right there if ready - Festival of Fire looks to have something to find at the weights
R8: A race where only 5 of the contenders does not come of a rest, and 4 of those are badly in at the weights - so a lot is going to depend on which of the rested ones are more ready than the others; it looks to be too short for Golden Crest, so the race should lie between Link Man (who at least has had a recent run) Chesalon, Pierre Jourdan and Snowdon (all of whom have performed well racing fresh) - not easy
R9: Rocco's Luck all the rage, but Go Gold ran a very good race behind Emperor Augustus last week and could give plenty of cheek - of the rest only Storm Ballet (stamina doubts) makes some appeal
Enjoy (tu)

Double : Quad Bay X The King And I, purely because they have decent draws.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.
