Hopefully the Emerald Cup will be carded to run before 4PM, or it might be Postponed again.

Surely the Powers that be [no laughing at the back] have realised that the Highveldt Thundershowers start around 4pm, like Clockwork in these Months

RELEASED BY: Phumelela Gaming and Leisure Limited

The Computaform and Computaform Express for this Thursday’s race meeting on the Vaal sand are no longer correct. They are being withdrawn from sale and have been replaced by Computaform UPDATE and Computaform Express SPECIAL UPDATE EDITION.
This has come about because the three feature races not run at last Saturday’s Vaal meeting, including the R600,000 Emerald Cup, have been added to the programme of races at the Vaal this Thursday.
There are now 11 races, instead of the original eight, which in turn has resulted in race numbers and starting times being revised. Consequently the Computaform and Computaform Express published for the meeting are no longer correct.
Anybody who has purchased a Computaform or Computaform Express for the meeting can exchange it free of charge for a Computaform UPDATE or Computaform Express SPECIAL UPDATE EDITION.
There is also a free electronic copy (pdf format) of the Computaform UPDATE for Vaal Sand this Thursday available at www.tabonline.co.za
Phumelela regrets any inconvenience caused to horseracing fans, but obviously every effort had to be made to salvage the three feature races which could not be run at the Vaal last Saturday after a thunderstorm brought the meeting to a premature end.
