This year's race is starting to look a gambler's dream.

First we lost the undefeated Valyra, winner of the French Oaks, who had to be euthenased. She was as high as 10/1 in the early ante-posts.

Then for different reasons Frankel and now probably Camelot. You can still back them with Betfair at nearly 70/1 and 20/1 respectively as they haven't been officially withdrawn yet. sports.betfair.com/?mi=104821515&ex=1&origin=LHMA

za.sportingbet.com/sports-horse-racing/a.../1-171-568195.html's prices:

DANEDREAM 9/2
ORFEVRE 9/2
NATHANIEL 6/1
SNOW FAIRY 6/1

SAONOIS 10/1
SHARETA 10/1
MEANDRE 12/1
MASTERSTROKE 14/1
ST NICHOLAS ABBEY 14/1

20/1 and better the rest...

The Jap horse could end up fav, remember Deep Impact was punted to 1/10 by the fans made the tote look a bit silly that day.

Not sure what persuasive influence he has over Aidan O'Brien but Walter Swinburne insists Arc is still on for Camelot despite the St Leger defeat. (Fine for me but :S)

Snow Fairy will run and Camelot had heels clipped in St Leger, may have also contributed to loss?

I took the 7/2 for Camelot to win the Arc last week 'cos I was so bullish thinking that his odds would be evens after the Ledger!! Enjoy the wee punt, we'll roar him together....:)

O'Brien opens the door for for Camelot Arc. Aidan O'Brien has indicated that both the Arc and Champion Stakes remain under consideration for Camelot, with a strong hint that the Arc is top of the agenda. (Champion Stakes!!!!!!!). Holding thumbs :).

www.independent.co.uk/sport/racing/obrie...arc-run-8166682.html

Danedream 9/2
Orfevre 9/2
Camelot back in at 6/1 (once fav at 4/1 and then drifted to 20/1)
Nathaniel 13/2
Shareta 9/1
Masterstroke 10/1
Saonois 10/1
Snow Fairy 10/1
St. Nicholas Abbey 16/1

And Frankel has shortened to 55/1 with Betfair!

Camelot backed in to 5/1 with Sportingbet.
However, he is now4/1 favourite with Boylesports after being heavily backed. They say it has been a one-horse-book.. Its just like a soapie.. But there is a caveat - Joseph might not make the riding weight and Aiden may be unwilling to choose another jock ::o.
