mr azzie: "would be shocked if he wins"

was heavily backed. owner? if the trainer says, that he would be shocked? debutant?
i don't say, every trainer has to give right prognoses. but i ask myself, how can a trainer say about agood horse, that is backed, he would be shocked"
my problem is not the wrong prognose, my problem is that he did not say: he is very good, but first time on the sand he probably need the run"
may be he thought, will win, but did not want to have to high expectations. anyway this gives us a bad taste.

yes, trainers, owners, please give us concrete signs. but personally i would not use words like "shocked about a debutant.
anyway it is to us to learn and remember (so this is no complaint, just something for the notebook)

i mean, who can back a debutant, if not someone, who knows somethin by the trainer or jockey? so how can they be shocked.
i am not talkin about "prognoses", just would like to know, who knew what?
the problem is not too much "transparency", which leads to complaints about wrong prognoses, but NOT ENOUGH transparency.

if every trainer would publish each time on his webside like bass and others, it would be no problem. because you could just assess their comments.

did anyone ever hear a bad word about mike basses comments? no. that is the clue. MORE transparency.
