I have asked this question before.

There are 4 mins to go on a local race and a UK race ( both flat)

In the UK they are just leaving parade ring, go to start, go behind and come back.

Our lads have been at the post had a few cold drinks and ordered a lunch 10 mins before the off?

Why is there a difference between SA and UK?
