Another improved performance by Pool. Were unlucky, thanks Pepe, not to secure all 3 points.

Thats that then. I cant see Man United losing 4 matches and I cant see Man City winning all or most of theirs. Oh well there is always next season and oh yes Real Madrid to support when they play in the Champs League next week.

The Premiership has now turned into a one horse race. The bottom of the league is where my attention is now focused. A week ago before Newcastle bought their French Revolution I would have tipped them to be in the fight for survival. Now I think that they can finish in the top 8.

Aston Villa have a massive fight on their hands to stay up as have Wigan, a team that has beaten the drop by the skin of their teeth for the past 3 seasons. QPR will stay up as their defence is now one of the best in the league. They need someone to start banging in the goals for them. West Ham is a team that can go on a 4 match winning streak as well as a 4 match losing streak. I wont be suprised if Reading stay up as well along with Southampton. Its so difficult to call it but at the moment my three to go down are Wigan, Villa and Norwich.

9 points 13 games. Looking good. QPR had a bet they don't stay up. WBA need to find form or they could be in trouble later in the season for bottom 3

Spurs v Newcastle.

Two weeks ago this would be a sure 3 points for Spurs but with the 5 new French players that Newcastle have aquired this will be a complete differant ball game. A draw

Chelsea v Wigan

Chelsea will either win 6-0 or lose 1-0. I am going for a huge Chelsea win

Norwich v Fulham

Norwich hit and miss at the moment but at home they are ok. A close 2-1 win for the Caneries

Stoke v Reading

This should be a good match as Reading are at last finding their feet in this division. A score draw for me

Sunderland v Arsenal

Sunderland seem to pick up their game when they play the bigger teams. This could be a shock 1-0 win for Sunderland

Swansea v QPR

The obvious bet here is a 0-0 draw as imo QPR now have the best defence in the league and they wont concede many goals. Swansea will attack throughout and all QPR could hope for is a breakaway goal.

Southampton v Man City

A defeat for Man City will be the death knoll as far the as league is concerned. I think that with Toure back Man City will win 2-0 to City

Villa v WHU

Villa need the points and I believe that they will get the win. 2-1

Man U v Everton

Liverpool v WBA

Good match for a Monday night. Liverpool seem to be hitting form so I will go with a 3-1 win for Liverpool.

This thread is the most knowledgable when it comes to football. All other football threads on ABC are to put it kindly...2nd rate and trying to steal the limelight.
