EQUUS AWARDS FOR 2YR OLDS

Here is my proposal for the Equus Awards for 2yr olds;

Based on a points system & the winner must have won a Grade 1;
Points awarded in order of finish in these particular races
Grade 1 10 - 5 - 3 - 1
Grade 2 5 - 3 - 1
Grade 3 3 - 2
Listed 2 - 1

The rationale is to get these horses to contest more than one race and this avoides the decision being based on future potential.
There should be cash prizes for first, second & third as opposed to nominating horses that are not going to win, Two year fillies this past season as an example.

Would be interested in hearing other opinions on the subject.....

tiger shark that is good idea BUT there is the one fatal flaw when we talk 2yo. they begin career at different time so dont have the same program to follow
