Scotia on Ascot and back from Thailand.

Good morning to the Clan and hope you are all ready for a great weeks racing?
Would just like to mention that Thailand was magic, considering what the nation had to endure after the Tsunami the people are so friendly and happy and always greet you with a smile.
The food, drinks and clothes are very good and cheap, (except wine)
We had a scooter to run about and highly recommended, Thailand is a must if you want night life, trips to paradise islands and wonderful beaches, great weather but when it rains, it rains!
Supper time as the sun goes down at the
Hilltop restaurant Ao Nang
The trip was part of the bucket list but should be added back on, its a fine line between the pension money running out and completing the list, so its back to work next week.
I went to Joburg to say a few words on Ascot with Molly on World Focus and the racing this week should be different class with Frankel opening the meeting and Black Caviar running on the Saturday. It can only be good for the promotion of racing to have two superstars on show, take the 4/7 with Sportingbet to pay for all your punts for the week (or the balance of the pension)?
Had a bad start with taking a bet with Molly that the Obrien's were not related and putting it down to jetlag, was thinking about Vincent and Aidan and not Joseph and his dad who are 7/10 for trainers award and 2/1 jockeys, 4/1 the family double?
Aidan and Joseph
Today we have the Coventry Stakes where Dawn Approach 4/1 is fav, King Stands where we have joint favs Bated Breath, Ortensia and Wizz Kid around the 5/1 mark in an open race.
The St James Palace where Power 4/1 could be the winner to get the Obrien's on winning ways?
All eyes will be on Frankel to kick the week of with another sparkling display at very restricted odds, but who cares about the odds when the champ is ensuring all eyes are focused on racing.
Wednesday we have the Price of Wales with So You Think at evens but Cirrus des Aigles a far sounder ew at 4/1 (scratched) all the best to the Queen with Carlton House.
Royal Hunt Cup is always difficult but Edinburgh Knight at 12/1 worth an ew punt.
Thursday is Gold Cup day or ladies day and Fame and Glory at evens to take the hounors in a grueling contest.
Friday should see Maybe back to winning ways in the Coronation Cup
Black Caviar runs on Saturday
Saturday and I cant wait to see the real deal, Black Caviar to prove how good she really is in the Diamond Jubilee at 1/3.
If desperation has set in have a punt on Hawkeyethenoo to get it all back in the Workingham Stakes to end a magic week of the best racing on the planet.
Will talk about the plans for Camelot soon as far as clashes with Frankel? however the St Leger and the Arc would appear the plan?
Good punting and may your God be with you
