Chesalon - July 1900

Is it my imagination or did Bernard give Chesalon a very easy ride. He only started smacking the horse in the last 50m when the race was over. Big July Runner

Beach Beauty and Chesalon are the only 2 runners to take from the race. The others may as well not even enter the July.

he couldnt get a run behind beach beauty its quite obvious to see..he couldnt ride the horse as there was one right infront of him?

JustinV, dont you see that was the plan.. If he could ride the horse then it was race over... No Penalty for the July so that means he will be a hugh runner... Beach Beauty will not run in front of Chesalon in the JULY...

no it wasnt the plan u tool..i was standing next to robert fayd'herbe during the race and he wasnt happy he got blocked in..what u going to tell me now? he was acting? was it also part of the plan that beach beauty would hang onto the inside fence blocking him in? coz when bernard made his run the inside was clear..beach beauty then was taken to the inside and chesalon was blocked

julymad do you think a horse has to win a race in order to incur a penalty?

no im not saying he wouldve won...he wouldve got closer no doubt..would he have won i dont know..what i do know is that there was no plan to get the horse boxed in from the 400 to the 150
