Davis pointed out that Grooms are employed by individual trainers and were not employees of the racing operators.... :S

What does this mean Davis, typical of Phumelela to try pass the buck

Yep Greg,but if there was more money to go round from stakes etc the grooms would get their chop,so it falls back on Phum..

Maybe I am misssing something here? I employ and pay my grooms. If they are not happy they talk to me. What have the racing operators got to do with it? If the GC staff are not happy I dont expect them to come to me.

yeah cause its not like there is a shortage of jockeys of colour..and the academy is almost all non white i think..
