I must say, to my own demise many times, I have written off horses such as English Garden, Bulsara and the now retired Rudra who have placed in Group races.
It just goes to show, and last nights win by English Garden proves, how competative the top races are and how good a horse must be to place in a Group One. Even if they go off the boil for a while, they are still top class performers. Class always seems to pull through especially when they run against horses who haven't competed at the highest level.
