Goodbye and Thank you
13 years 1 month ago
"Years have gone by and i have finally learned to accept
myself for who i am:a beggar of good football.
I go around the world , hand out strectched and in the
stadiums i plead "A pretty move for the love of God"
and when good football happens, i give thanks for the miracle
and i don't give a damm which team or country performs it"
Eduardo Galeano
I watched my teams farewell to our manager, normally when managers leave they leave so with their boxes under their arms and a big payoff because they failed their clubs. Not with Pep, he brought us the game we all crave and demand to watch. We rejoiced in our achievements and will wait for his return to the Camp Nou in the future where surely he will one day again reign as the maestro in charge of the beautiful game.
Gracias Pep

There are only a few teams that capture your imagination in a lifetime, in mine the current Barcelona team and Brazil and Real Madrid when they came to Scotland and beat the Germans 7-3

I also remember after they won the cup and Scotland beat them and Jim Baxter sitting on the ball during the game, great stuff!

Pep must have very high standards,as he was a brilliant coach, and too quit when his side ''is to me'' the best in the world, its hard to believe.Still wondering if his statement to quit was premature.

Nice quote and "tribute" Easy.
European Cup Final 2011... probably the best team performance I've ever seen, football played at its simplistic best and at incredible speed. No problem saying so even though my team were unfortunate enough to be the opposition in said game. Hats off to PG, produced a truly wonderful team to watch (and I wish him well for the future, depending on where he goes of course!!! West Brom have a vacancy I hear...
