Good luck in your new venture Matthew, it is about time the Handicappers employed someone who fully understands the intricacies of Merit Rating and Handicapping.
The South African Racing industry can only improve with the employment of Magic Lips.
We will of course miss your great tipping in the Winning Form, which I have been using for more years than I can remember:)-D

Yip, was seriously crapped on by one of my Owners, who cannot race without Lips' selections in Winning Form, after I mentioned that I thought that it was a "good for Racing " move by Lips....
I will be attending the Handicapping Forum on this wed at NHRA. Let's see if any changes and I will report back, here on ABC.
To me, Roger is doing everything exactly in terms of the Handicapping Guidelines. In my humble opinion, the system needs only some fine tuning or tweaks and also needs to allow for a bit more discretion from the handicappers, especially in terms of hindsight.

Mr. Lips, you are undoubtedly one of the "few good men" in racing. I wish you everything of the best and am wildly confident you will make a success of your endeavor.
Salut!!
