I think its an excellent idea 007 but, love this forum as I do, I often find some people aren't exactly rushing to be at he head of the "I'll answer that" queue. That's no disrespect, there may be a multitude of reasons for it. Not being funny, a similar one for the horses would imo be an excellent thing, Somewhere you could ask about types of bets and how or where to do them or just a general question to do with racing form etc... for example, when a horse is going to post, how do people tell it "went down well" cos the truth is apart from if it is pulling or charging, I haven't got a clue. Same as when they are in the ring, they all pretty much look the same to me, what do people look for... colour, weight etc and how do you tell one looks good and ready to fly and another looks ready for a nice Saturday afternoon trot? :) I haven't started a thread or threads as I am not convinced people would answer but even me, who has been betting horses 25 years, have an absolute stack of questions, though some of these would refer specifically to SA racing. Anyway, I am no expert on football betting either but you are welcome to PM me any questions and if I can help I will, alternatively I think someone like Chicken n Chips probably has a very good knowledge and although the poor chap may suffer from an obsessive "I'm jealous of Man Utd" syndrome, I also think he would try and help as much as he can (though I have no actual proof of that, just an impression I get). A good start point for you though would be to do Man Utd to win 5-0 every match! ;)

THANX I agree i myself dont really have a clue what to look for when they are in the parade ring or going down, in the game for 38 years, but i have learned to go on gut feel, like to today i had a feeling for Midships and i went 4 that, had no clue how it went down but all I know it came back well :)-D

Ya it is maybe better to find your own way, will have a look on the soccer ,maybe should try a double man C to win league against Man U and Chelsea to win what ever cup they are playing in the final for. had a quick look, it seems it will work out 7/1 maybe i will take some of that. .if i add in Athletico madrid i can get 20/1 that might be good treble :S

Tellytrack bosses know the future is sports betting,Ken Rutherford even mentioned it in his profile on the sportingposr website

That is the future for "P"..........why are stakeholders who rely on the success of local racing not getting together and strategising to rescue and grow the local product for their own salvation and future?
Are breeders, trainers and owners going to just watch local racing destroyed............if not ,you better do something before ALL the assets that "P" inherited have been liquidated and proceeds distributed to shareholders.
Don't believe the B'sh!t from the "P" CEO.................the state of racing is not inevitable, but the result of some of the worst management on the planet.

Have just read the interview of Ken Rutherford (CEO of Tellytrack).
I think it makes my point of rescuing local racing even more...........I know he is only following Corporate strategy so not his fault but scary anyway..................We wanted an extra channel...........instead we are going to get less and less.
