Angel flying ahead of Nell Gwyn
We've got Lily's Angel in the Lanwades Stud Nell Gwyn Stakes and though it's a tough little race she's in great order and I couldn't be happier with her. She's done well through the winter, looks as though she's trained on and I'm expecting a big run. I've no issue with the trip at all, she's a very relaxed filly and when she does pick up she runs on very well. It's a warm Nell Gwyn, Sir Michael Stoute has one in there and there's a couple who have just had the one run, but our filly has experience and we're very happy with her.

My other runner on Wednesday is Alejandro in the Bet At bluesquare.com On Your Mobile Handicap and it's going to be tough for him off a rating of 95. He won three last year, including a Class 2, so he can't run in conditions races as he has too many penalties so we have to go for the handicap. Laura Barry helps by taking seven off, she won for me on Arctic Feeling the other day and is a good girl, but even so it is a tough ask and if he wins this then he's a good little horse. I would be a little bit surprised were he to pull it off though
