The bookies are not infallible, they also get it wrong many times.... But they have to proceed with caution..

by the sounds of it most of you won a fortune yesterday. Horse priced up at 7/10 the book was about 140% at that time with the fav acounting for 58% so you must have backed the rest of the field for a handsome return....well done

this was definately not a 7/10 shot..i put two horses in the pa and neither were winged captain..darryl maree brassed it in his pre race selections too..only two runners came out of his last run that always flirting won..both ran unplaced..and always flirting himself was a battling maiden..

I took 4/1 Breezing Through which looked the right horse..but I still am adamant that the (inaccurate) pricing up of horses is the main cause for all the sling off's after the race....SA bookies are taking liberties day after day....the betting on the Premiership title is a typical example...betting 1/10 and 9/2 in what is clearly a 2 horse race at best...so by backing Man City you are in fact laying them 9/20 Man U or take their price Man U and you are laying 10/1 Man City....time they started treating their customers with a little more respect!!!

I hope you never took 4/1 Breezing Through at Sportingbet or Ladbrokes ! Your account liable to be closed.
Not only are bookies taking liberties with mark-ups, but they get the needle if you win too !

titch...these bookies are really taking us for a ride......yesterday in southwell 2 horse race...i horse is 1/10 the other is 5/1....how does that ever add up....the was blatent thievery...if they think that that favourite was a 1/10 shot then the least they should have offered on the other one...should be 9/1....actually u wont believe it but the tote had it right...R1.10 a win...and the other was paying R8.90 a win.....the is proof that on a wider scale money on will ultimately determine the price of a horse....this was 1 instance where it goes to show that there is no need for bookies...

1/12 and 7/1 returned sp in the uk about 106%

1/10 and 5/1 as you stated 107%

not to shabby
