Well done Hibs, not too shabby mate..........must say I preferred freezeouts(no rebuy etc) otherwise the game was just "foreplay" until they were done.
One day when bored (abandoned meeting) I'll tell my poker story........................I literally got less successful the more I learnt and studied the game.........and then gave it up.
Will still play single table "sit & gos" ........I can just about stay patient enough for those!

Couple of comments:

CHEATING WITH DRUGS: the reason cheating by using PEDs (Performance Enhancing Drugs) is preferred by many cheaters is that they are so effective. NOTHING--you heard me--NOTHING any horseman can do is capable of producing such superior positive results as can be obtained by cheating.

Once a trainer has cheated by using drugs and seen the results, a trainer will search and seek out drugs that can be used until the authorities find them out. Cheating trainers are constantly looking for the next edge.

Regulation in and of itself is only part of the answer.

The real answer to stopping or curtailing cheating is POLICING and the will to follow through by the authorities.

This is a never ending battle between the Good Guys and Bad Guys. Bad Guys have the edge because the world of human drugs is vast and constantly being added to.

The ways that horsemen cheat all involve manipulating or improving the delivery of oxygen to the lungs through enhancing the blood of a racehorse, as well as buffering lactic acid in the muscles by using agents that slow down the absorption of lactic acid.

In the main, products such as EPO enhance the oxygen delivery system. Milkshakihng (sodium bicarbonate loading) are classic examples of a) introducing more oxygen to the lungs) and b) buffering the build up of lactic acid.

As authorities become more and more aware of these tricks, cheaters seek out new varieties of both products.

It is only policing that can catch the crooks and the will of the authorities to ban these rascals from the sport.
