Sheikh M's response would have been different if Barzalona fell off or drove his horse into the rail doing that, but then again Godolphin also finished second so they would have been covered.:D

quite apart from danger to himself/his horse, or the possibility of losing the race, what about the other horses and jockeys if he falls off just before the line? They are all going flat out and have little chance to avoid him ... he could cause a horrible pileup right there in front of the grandstands.

Afterwards is too late to say 'Sorry!" when someone has had his back broken.
