let him show some consistency first before backing him as he has a temperament problem

Hibs the track was running standard according to the officials . Which it wasn't.

Today was faster Hibs . And the overall time of the race suggests they travelled a fair pace . I think this form will work out . Titch could be right . Rokocoko is a horse to follow in kimberly as is Metro man .

Hopefully the Vissers' can keep them on the boil . I've noticed that they tend to get their horses to a peak were they put up some amazing performances then for some reason the horses go off( Alle breve , Secret flag and high repute spring to mind ) .

Hope they carry on for you Homer !

Homer, well done and hope you and the partners have a lot of fun at Flamingo.

Titch, i think a very nice gesture from the Visser stable to give you a mention after Metro man won his race. You are clearly working hard and i think a mention is well overdue.

All the best.

I obviously don't know them from a bar of soap, but from what you see on the TV, have to agree with you. They look like they know what they are talking about as well and are always optimistic. Again, well done to EVERYONE concerned.

What I do agree with is that the jocks that do travel to Kim or else where should pay their own way, the fact that some stables/owners are expected to pay for their travel is bollocks..@ R650 a ride and 10% of stakes earned paying their own way should be a given??

Dont misunderstand me titch he could turn out a good horse and on paper it does look like strong form. But if you watch the race the slow pace gave him a chance to get in the race and he was the one doing the sprinting in the straight as he passed Salado and then finished behind him. Salado is no champion and i feel rokococo will be better suited to an extra furlong. No doubt he will be a contender next time i just feel making him hard to beat next time is a big ask?

My personal feeling is that the pace was in fact Roko's undoing and Muzi i feel should have taken the initiative and gone to the front earlier than he did, also Salado has been put up to MR 73 and Roko down to a MR 74 which should see him reverse that form on the 26th in the 1800 if you choose to go that route also we will be 3KG's better off with Dream Big on our last meeting (now a 73 from a 69) and 2Kg's better off with Bee patrol (68 from 66) if they should run in the race, add to that the improvement he is showing will make Roko very competitive albeit over 1800m..
