Vaal Sand Thursday..

Did it this morning Dave... Hills and others, just trying to scrape a few quid together on it through the restrictions! Frodo's comments were a bit of a negative so I did Goose Valley as well at 14s and that has now been supported so of course I've put the two together

Frodo remember Blingle Bells winning a small feature in the Sand ages ago think Spiced Gold was in that field.

Just checked - BB won the Summer Speedster beating Candy Cotton 3.5 lengths at level weights a year ago tomorrow, and also beat Howhighcanufly by 1.25 lengths in June last year at similar weight terms as were the case today

Well they got me there - in hindsight Sermon's MR was coming down, Striker up, level weights with a 3yr old recent maiden winner - so easy afterwards - and the handicapper proved me wrong again with Fort William - looks like he is finally coming into his own on the sand - but sadly will never match his half-brother Kavanaugh

Given up on the Sand so will go for a longshot in Gold Game in the next.
