May all change of course but initial likes...
R1 11 Quick on the Draw
R2 2 Voodoo Girl
R3 13 Gold Nugget (pre rain was 4 Java Junkie)
R4 13 Cayman Lady
R5 4 Marius
R6 2 Rodeo Dandy
R7 9 Scented Breeze
R8 10 Coco Stripes

If anyone knows that any of the above are highly unlikely to like the going, please be good enough top let me know.

Best three... races 1, 4 and 7

Not sure if you use Computaform:

Quick on the Draw - unknown
Voodoo Girl - Placed 3rd in only run in the soft
Gold Nugget - unknown
Cayman Lady - placed once out of 2 runs in the soft
Marius - unknown
Rodeo Dandy - 2 wins, 1 place from 4 runs in the soft
Scented Breeze - one unplaced run in the soft
Coco Stripes - 1 place from 3 runs in the soft

Also the last few meeting the going was better down the inside - this may have changed with the rain - watch the first race

Frodo, that is super kind of you, thank you. I use Winning Form and I've seen their "wet" figures but its not a lot to go on really. And yes, last 2 or 3 meetings the low numbers have been favoured which I've taken account of. My concern is all the comments here regarding jockeys and the going... sounds like you can throw any known form out the window and use a pin. May pay to back the three biggest outsiders in each race! :) By the sounds of it, this is when it becomes what they call "a mug's game"! Good luck with your runners though man, are you going now or not?

Does look like it's clearing a bit - so yes leaving in the next hour - play well - and keep that pin handy (tu)

Yip you know how it goes - when we expect the upsets - all the fancied runners romp in one after the other - but somehow I think not today

Englander, the form works out BETTER with the workriders.... study properly and you will get the money.

NEVER trust the weather...... now it's sunny and slightly windy. As for the going, remember that Vaal dries quickly, expect pen to be a bit lower later on...

Magi, that made me laugh thanks. I always do my best and had a great day yesterday but I'm no expert! If you would like to give me a couple of indicators as to how one should read the form PROPERLY to ensure best results I'm all ears... :) bearing in my mind I am primarily a win only man who likes doing forecasts and tricasts, to be honest, all these permutations you guys bet on do my head in! :) but I think that is more simply familiarity with betting styles in any particular country and you seem to do pretty well by them (tu)
