Should this speed machine remain in training ? The same could be asked of the bullet train Black Caviar ?

Should Val de ra continue racing YES OR NO ?

For me to watch her run YES. For the breeder, can she become any more valueable for breeding here in SA by running again here? Probably not. If she is going to race overseas and take on the best she can then really increase her value. Possibly get covered by a top stallion overseas then brought back here.

Not our call but would like to have seen her overseas 5 furlongs, can't think of any stars? BC probably 6 furlongs and will be hard to beat IMO

My sentiments exactly. As I said, I'd love to see her racing in Europe, but we can't exactly vote on something that doesn't concern us at all.

I think she has done more than enough and her value has now hit the maximum mark - for SA anyway. I would go with the owners on this one - retire and straight to Western Winter.

Furthermore, this whole 'it doesn't concearn us' is also rubbish because in sport i.e. Man Utd, The Springbok Coach, ect. Supporters voice opinions about things which are completely out of their control.
