Dear Member
The Directors of Gold Circle view the abandonment of the Clairwood race meeting on the 26th January in an extremely serious light. Accordingly two Senior Managers at Gold Circle have been suspended pending an enquiry which will be led by David Furness who was nominated by Gold Circle and Guy Hoffman SC who was nominated by the National Horseracing Authority.
The enquiry report and recommendations will be tabled in front of a tribunal nominated by the Board of Gold Circle and the National Horseracing Authority.
The Clairwood racetrack will remain closed until at least 13 March 2012 and further remedial work has already started. Wayne Simpson and Garth Puller have been appointed to oversee the running of the Clairwood Park racecourse and Training Centre pending the outcome of the enquiry.
Kind Regards
Michel Nairac

Funny enough, Garth isn't a bad appointment. Right or wrong he will have an opinion which he will act upon. You can't ask for more.
