had this been turfontein....val de ra..no race...but kenilworth...with conditions predicted....it can only favour waw....i can just see this race in my mind...jj and val cutting out the early pace...waw sitting in the slipstream with cover....a flick on the shoulder switch in or out a 100m from home and to win by a convincing 1/2 length....go boys take the evens...although i think we will get around 12/10 on interbet at race time...this is a special horse with a turn of foot .......to match only the likes of SENOR SANTA.If val does'nt put more than 3 lenghts to spare on waw at the 300m...she has no chance...and thats why i say turfontein would have suited her...because it will be really tough to have 3 lenghts to spare in the head wind at kenilworth

Wind Guru predicting a south/south easter tomorrow evening for the big race, 17knots.

Is this the head wind at Kenilworth?
How is this going to affect the race and everyone's selections guys?

Perhaps playing into WaW and perhaps JJ's hands?

This goes for both WAW and VDR..

"To be the best, you got to beat the best"

And JJ is the best

gordo south easter is head wind at kenilworth and i remember national currency running into it and fading to run 3rd against an 8yr old ct horse.the wind can be a factor but only if it blows gale force which i doubt coz we having a heat wave in ct with no wind to cool us down.if the horse is good enough it will win imo.will be a great race tho and i think it will come down to jockey skill as to who will win.take your pick, honest karl who knows kenilworth like the back of his hand or the other 2.
