Six Nations Garrick,what you think?

Really looking forward to the six nations this year, and i think its wide open..

France very unlucky not to be crowned world champions and worthy Favourites 8/5

Wales were the Northern Hemisphere great hope early in the WC but faltered when it most mattered but probably have the most natural talent 5/2

Seemingly England are in transition and have to show they are a team 100/30

Ireland
are still in shock in their poor world cup showing and have something to prove.. 6/1

Scotland
wont win the tournament but they will compete with every nation, starting with a home win against England. 20/1

Italy
improving all the time but always seem to tire at the end of matches imo.. 100/1

Have not even looked at 6 Nations yet! But.............

We need to probably start off by evaluating who learned the most from the World Cup and is likely to take that into the competition in the form of increased confidence and experience.

Also - how many have retired subsequent to the World Cup.

It looks like a little bit of a swirl at present with the coaching musical chairs thrown in as well.

When it comes to the Six Nations the most important thing to me is who has 3 home games and how difficult are the away games.

France - 3 Home games, there away games are against Scotland and Wales (Which could be the decided)

Wales - 3 Home games, there away games are against Ireland and England (Will probably lose at least one away game)

England - 2 Home games. their away games are against Scotland, Italy and France. (Will probably finish 3rd or 4th)

Ireland - 3 Home games, however their away games are England and France. (Not looking great at the moment will battle to win this.

Scotland and Italy - 2 Home games each, will more than likely be fighting each other for the wooden spoon again.

For my money I would have a large bet on France at 8/5 at the start of the tournament as their first 3 games are Italy (H), Ireland (H) and Scotland (A). They could have quite a lead at this stage and you could lay off or back one of England or Wales depending on who can challenge them.
