On second glance I don't think Run For It will have it his own way today, Brown Penny looks like a lively runner at the weights.

Can someone please tell me why Laurie's Gold is only carrying 59kg's with a merit rating of 87 in the 2nd...:S

It's a Novice Plate - not sure why some would be more 'novice' than the others - thought it might have something to do with the number of places, but Palos Verdes has only placed twice (like Laurie's Gold) but carries 60 kg - also Dan Patch only 58 kg :S

Genteel Approach will be thereabouts in the last.....
