Just watched Gary Anderson beat your man Devon Peterson.
I was really impressed with South African Petersen,he certainly made Anderson sweat,Well he is a Sweaty Sock.

Big money in the game now, we used to just play for a pint.

Certainly the best South African by far to play in the World Champs, and at this young age...who knows? Experience and class prevailed over guts determination and a never-say-die attitude. And remember Gary is world no. 4! Just another amazing stat: He outscored a 180 machine in Gary by something like 24 140's to 12!

Must agree, his 140s were brilliant. If he could have just improved his doubles and put
Anderson under pressure he would have won..
I liked his entrance, looks full of confidence.
He needs to stay in UK to play the circuit and get some experience.
Definately one to watch..Seemed a nice lad in the post match interview

This kids got character! In more ways than one! Always been a bit of a cracker down here in the Cape. He has played the circuit for the past year or so now with this performance being the best by far. You're quite right Dave, who knows.... if he took the multitude of chances he had. He needs to do better in the other tourneys though and i am sure it will come with experience. Like Taylor once said "You have to pay your dues in this game". Going to the U.K. was the best thing he could have done for his career. Better a sardine in the ocean than a shark in a fishbowl, I say. He definitely has the basics to do very well in this game, Unicorn has noted that and he now just has to justify their faith in him by going close or even winning some minor tourneys. He reminds me of a gutsy juvenile taking on classic three year olds. Managed correctly he should be fine.
