When BIG DOGS bark they make a lot of noise and eventually become a nuisance and are silenced and then sound like poodles squeaking. It takes one imbecile to find another.Have a good day

This is a somewhat naive question, but still relevant.
There must be a value to pulling a horse? It's pointless pulling a horse that was priced to lose, so we must be talking about favourites I assume, and the shorter - the better. The jock needs to have co-conspirators, I presume more than one? Let's say 3? Would 50k a piece be a good number?
Would a top jockey be available for 50k? It seems a little lite to me. Perhaps someone can post up a "hypothetical" scenario to explain how this works, because is you watch the volumes traded and the size of pools I can't see how this is supposed to work with the regularity of the posts on this site and the innuendo of all this organised crime.
We can all speculate and guess, but maybe someone knows stuff from a genuine source?

BC I will have a wild swing at this, kinda like Davetheflowers teasers, I would guess that the answer may already be in play. Platner Racing, one heavy weight jock (Fortune) I don't recall seeing of late and Fayd' Herbe picking up quite a few rides for the stable.
This is a guess on the jockeys and should not be construed as an accusation of cheating. It seems the only logical explanation to your post.

Wait until you get Betfair. Then you will see some skullduggery, horses going off like Usain Bolt, being put in hopeless positions, too far off a slow pace. I know Betfair police it very well now,but some off these undesirables will get at your jockeys. There will be a lot more money involved when they do open in SA.In the UK now nearly every Bookie bets on SA racing and the ones that dont will when Betfair is launched..Look at today for example,no racing in UK.SA racing is a product that our bookies need, especially in our winter months when there are a lot of meetings cancelled.
That means more money being wagered, more money if you cheat..

Fortune is old news bro
And I'm not sure about Fortune replacing schlecter has stable boy to hodgson, from what I've heard Fortune is going to mauritius for their next racing season and will be a man on a mission
Did anybody ever find out why sean veale lost his job at the howells stable seeing as he was doing so well?
@jack dash did you ever think that so much of money was involved in underground cricket betting before Hansie was caught?

The question is if this Jock did infact pull a horse has the trainer informed the Jockey club? If he did pull a horse why did the stipes not see it? Without knowing the facts it seems that it could be the usual case where horses don't win and trainers/owners blame Jocks. There are so many cases of Jock/trainers splitting and I think most have nothing to do with cheating but more to do with personality clashes and unrealistic expectations from owners/trainers.

I once heard a trainer call a jockey by his nickname "Handbrake". I thought it was funny...
