After the other night I doubt De Kock will even bring Link Man.

I didn't like the way Link Man cantered down on Tuesday night, and his inability to beat Seal over a mile is not what Queen's Plate winners are made of, The Apache, of course, is another matter, although he is also arguably better over at least 1800m.
One never writes off De Kock without the feeling that one is being foolish, but something doesn't look quite right with Link Man and I think it was 2Cents who posted before Tuesday's race that he didn't like the way Link Man had gone to the start in the Merchants, either I can't remember that, but he made me look more closely on Tuesday night and I can see what young Mr Maree was talking about..
As for What A Winter, I don't suppose 17/18 is what Mike Bass meant by a good draw.:
