POOR SERVICE TAB

I HAVE BEEN READING ON SOME OTHER THREADS ABOUT SERVICE SO I WANT TO THROUGH IN MY EXPERIENCE

It seems that bad service is a general problem. I also play online through Interbet tote but prefer to take my P6 and JP at the local Tab (for varouis reasons) On Sunday I won a fair amoount of money, rush of to the Tote, "sorry sir we dont have money come back tomorrow". Monday morning they still couldnt pay me the full amount so I was given vouchers with the understanding that I can come after the races amd they will cash it form me.

I want to give you three guesses what happened?..............................................................................................................

yes you are right "sorry we dont have money come back tomorrow" in the meantime I managed to catch the JP and % of P6 @KMBLY, guess what"come back tommorrow"

they want to give me a cheque, I refuse they take "cash only" when I play my bet so I want cash back.

I am so sick and tired of this bunch, you even have to fight for your winnings.

I am wondering if forum members has similar experiences

I just found out that all tote's start with a float of R20 000 each day and if they have a lot of payouts you grab a "voucher"

I think the logic behind the voucher is that the guy who won cannot take his money and spend it like he wants to by coing back tommorrow he uses his voucher to bet again and in that way the money goes back into the system. good scheme I think, keeps the money in the "family"
Surely they must make provision for larger floats to accommodate lager payouts.

forcing people to come back tomorrow is in my opinion trying to create problem gamblers - pay the people don't tempt them to play up the money

Rather than wait for the cash, let them transfer into your bank account or telebet / tab account.
Once in your telebet account you can request them to transfer into your bank account.
It usually takes 24 hours on week days. Most outlets dont keep bundles of cash due to security reasons.
