craig..i haven't met u personally..but just a greet and hello whilst on the course....but by the few post that i have read from you...i think u are levell headed and a genuine guy....and whilst an earlier poster said "its easier to be negative"...i think in this issue...a chance has to given to the board u have elected...without crusifying them before they even got started....and its good u come on ABCfrom time to time...because here,u get the feel about gripes about the punter....and its pple like u that can be our messanger....because sometimes its hard to get in the door from our side....good job done...and the constant feedback.....and also the posting of your horses with chances are most appreciated

i think i need to clarify my stand on certain issues that have come up on this thread...firstly i am not a member of gold circle and havent been for almost 3 years but im a small time owner and a punter...i gave up my membership because of the structure of how g,circle is run in todays modern times believing that it cannot be run as a club but has to be run as a business by PEOPLE WHO ARE SUCCESSFUL IN THE FIELD OF HORSERACING and by people who havent got hidden agendas and vested interests...to sum it up it cannot be run as a bowling or tennis club,,lets face it the people on the boards of gc for the last 20 years are mostly multi millionaires so if racing went belly up they wouldnt suffer financially would they ...to think that EVERY TIME A MAJOR DECISION HAS TO BE TAKEN THAT THE MEMBERS OF GOLD CIRCLE HAVE TO VOTE ON IT IN THESE TIMES IS ABSURD as many of these members have never owned a horse in their lives and are 5 rand punters but they hold the destiny of racing in their hands...i have said before natal has all the attributes of becoming the best racing province as far as the sport of horseracing is concerned if it is managed correctly but imo recent decisions or proposals imo will make the sport suffer in natal ..because i disagree on certain issues doesnt make me a negative person its my opinion and it is agreed upon by many influential people very much involved in the industry..i love horseracing as it has given me great pleasure and will give back to it if given the oppurtunity .

I sincerely hope that KZN can stand alone , turn it around, thrive and show up the defectors and P arse lickers,but I agree 100% with Pirates post above, the personal agendas of the core management will be your demise.

I am interested to know what these supposed personal agendas are?

Like politics, to be the boss and take home the big bucks while the business flounders. Where is that poster that was ranting on about the KZN Breeder subsidies. That is a start!!!!!
